Finally, head over to a sheepdog farm and watch a sheepdog herd with his master. For those who aren’t
aware of what a sheepdog trial is, it is when a Border Collie uses a tactic called “The Eye” on sheep. This is a direct stare at the sheep used to intimidate them while herding. A sheepdog trial is also a competitive dog sport in which herding dogs move sheep around a field, gates or enclosures as directed by their herder. Witness a Shepherd and his dog at work and watch how they herd a flock of sheep. The tour will end between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
