Service Information

During the course of the year, numerous events and marches take place in Central London, which require our routes to be diverted. Some of the stops may not be able to be served.

We are in constant contact with Transport for London and have blocked out dates when tours will be impossible, but would just like to issue a general disclaimer that we may have to divert our route on some tours without prior warning.

Fortunately we are London experts and our staff will be pleased to give you the information you require to ensure you can use our services with confidence. We would like to let you know about any changes to the routes in advance where possible. 

Friday 18 January to Friday 3 May 2019 – Closure of Hyde Park Corner stop

Construction Works - Piccadilly, Bomber Memorial - Stop 7 closed when works are adjacent..

Replacement stop in Duke of Wellington Place, when stop 7 is closed.

Saturday 23 March 2019 – March for a Peoples Vote

March – Park Lane to Parliament Square – diversions and delays..

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 16, 20, 21, 22, 32, 33, 38, 46 & 48 will not be served during road closure.

Sunday 24 March 2019 – London Landmarks Half-Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 36, 44 and 70 will not be served until roads re-open.

Sunday 24 March 2019 – Crane operation – Holland Park Avenue

Road closure – Holland Park Avenue – Yellow route on diversion.

Stops 61 will not be served after 0800 during road closure.

Sunday 28 April 2019 – London Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stops 3, 4, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23 & 25 will not be served all day.

Thursday 25 April 2019 – Wreath Laying – Anzac Day

Wreath Laying – Whitehall – Stop 3 will not be served during ceremony.

Wednesday 1 May 2019 – May Day March & Rally

March & Rally – Clerkenwell Green to Trafalgar Square – Diversions and stop closures possible.

Monday 27 May 2019 – BUPA 10k

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Saturday 6 July 2019 – Pride in London

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 July 2019 – London Triathlon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures possible on both days.

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August 2019 – Prudential Ride London Free Cycle

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day both days.

Sunday 15 September 2019 – Tour of Britain

Major event – Central London - Diversions and stop closures all day.

Sunday 29 September 2019 – Sheep Drive

Sheep Drive – London Bridge – Delays possible in area.

Sunday 13 October 2019 – Royal Parks Half-Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stop closures: The following stops will have no service during the event, up to 1300 approximately:

From 1300 approx. normal service will operate, and all stops will be served.

Saturday 9 November 2019 - Lord Mayors Show

Large Procession - Road Closures in City - Diversions on all Tours.

The following stops will have no service until after 1500 approximately: 7, 8, 9 & 10.

Sunday 10 November 2019 – Remembrance Sunday

Closure of Whitehall – diversions in force during closure.

Numerous other ceremonies taking place during the day at other locations.

The following stops will have no service on this day: 3, 4, 18, 19 & 31.

Stop 7 Duncannon Street will only be served by Blue and Orange route buses.

Tuesday 31 December 2019 – New Year’s Eve Celebrations & Fireworks.

On Monday 31st December 2018, the New Year Eve Fireworks display will be held. Large areas of Central London will be closed to traffic in stages from 1400 hrs.

Stops 3, 4, 18, 19, 30 & 31 will not be served after 1400.

Wednesday 1 January 2020 - New Year Day Parade

On Tuesday 1st January 2018 large areas of Central London closed to traffic all day to facilitate the New Year Day Parade.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 17, 18, 30, 31, 32, 33 & 75 will not be served until roads re-open.
