Service Information

During the course of the year, numerous events and marches take place in Central London, which require our routes to be diverted. Some of the stops may not be able to be served.

We are in constant contact with Transport for London and have blocked out dates when tours will be impossible, but would just like to issue a general disclaimer that we may have to divert our route on some tours without prior warning.

Fortunately we are London experts and our staff will be pleased to give you the information you require to ensure you can use our services with confidence. We would like to let you know about any changes to the routes in advance where possible. 

Friday 18 January to Friday 17 May 2019 – Closure of Hyde Park Corner stop

Construction Works - Piccadilly, Bomber Memorial - Stop 33 closed when works are adjacent..

Replacement stop in Duke of Wellington Place, when stop 33 is closed.

Monday 13 to Friday 17 May 2019 – Road closure – Charing Cross Road

Road works – Charing Cross Road closed southbound between Litchfield Street and Great Newport Street – Orange route on diversion.

Stop 70 will not be served during this closure.

Saturday 18 May 2019 – Tamil March – Piccadilly to Richmond Terrace

March & Rally – Piccadilly to Whitehall – Delays possible.

Thursday 23 May 2019 – UN Peacekeepers Wreath Laying

Ceremony – Whitehall – Blue, Red and Lilac routes on diversion during ceremony.

Stop 3 will not be served during ceremony (1100 to 1500),

Monday 27 May 2019 – Vitality London 10k

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stops 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 17, 18 & 76 will not be served until after 1400 hrs when roads re-open.

Saturday 1 June 2019 – Federation of Sikhs

Procession – Hyde Park Corner to Trafalgar Square – Delays possible.

Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 June 2019 – State Visit

State Visit – US President – Security closures and delays possible.

Sunday 9 June 2019 – Combined Irish Wreath Laying

Ceremony – Whitehall – Blue, red and Lilac routes on diversion during ceremony.

Stop 3 will not be served during ceremony (0700 to 1100),

Sunday 9 June 2019 – World Naked Bike Ride

Event – Central London – Delays possible,

Wednesday 26 June 2019 – Climate Coalition – Mass Lobby of Parliament

Protest – Parliament Square – Delays possible,

Saturday 6 July 2019 – Pride in London

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Saturday 13 July 2019 – Belgian Wreath Laying

Ceremony – Whitehall – Blue, red and Lilac routes on diversion during ceremony.

Stop 3 will not be served during ceremony (0800 to 1200),

Tuesday 16 July 2019 – Great City Race

Event – City of London – Delays possible,

Sunday 21 July 2019 – British 10k

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Sunday 28 July 2019 – London Triathlon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures possible on both days.

Thursday 1 August 2019 – Reparation March

March and Rally – Parliament Square – Delays possible,

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August 2019 – Prudential Ride London Free Cycle

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day both days.

Sunday 15 September 2019 – Tour of Britain

Major event – Central London - Diversions and stop closures all day.

Sunday 29 September 2019 – Sheep Drive

Sheep Drive – London Bridge – Delays possible in area.

Sunday 13 October 2019 – Royal Parks Half-Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Tuesday 5 November 2019 – Million Mask March

March – Central London - Delays possible.

Saturday 9 November 2019 - Lord Mayors Show

Large Procession - Road Closures in City - Diversions on all Tours.

The following stops will have no service until after 1500 approximately: 7, 8, 9 & 10.

Sunday 10 November 2019 – Remembrance Sunday

Closure of Whitehall – diversions in force during closure.

Numerous other ceremonies taking place during the day at other locations.

The following stops will have no service on this day: 3, 4, 18, 19 & 31.

Stop 7 Duncannon Street will only be served by Blue and Orange route buses.

Tuesday 31 December 2019 – New Year’s Eve Celebrations & Fireworks.

On Tuesday 31st December 2019, the New Year Eve Fireworks display will be held. Large areas of Central London will be closed to traffic in stages from 1400 hrs.

Stops 3, 4, 18, 19, 30 & 31 will not be served after 1400.

Wednesday 1 January 2020 - New Year Day Parade

On Wednesday 1st January 2020 large areas of Central London closed to traffic all day to facilitate the New Year Day Parade.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 17, 18, 30, 31, 32, 33 & 75 will not be served until roads re-open.
