Overview

When in Key West, visiting the aquarium is a must! The Key West Aquarium is the only public aquarium in Key West, Florida, and is a great place to spend the day. With a wide range of sea creatures and a selection of different tours and experiences, spend the day interacting with marine life and learning more about each creature.

Sea Turtle Conservation Tour

The Key West Aquarium is committed to helping endangered sea turtles by working closely with Turtle Hospital and the Florida Sea Turtle Standing Network. Home to many turtles on the mend, the Key West Aquarium takes care of injured sea turtles, of which many will be permanently housed at the aquarium due to the severity of their injuries.

Here, you’ll be able to admire the beauty of sea turtles and learn more about them as creatures as well as what we can do to help protect them.

Touch Tank Tour

If you’re feeling brave, join the Touch Tank Tour, where you’ll be able to get up close and personal with sea creatures that are found in the lower ecosystems. Touch and hold the different marine animals such as conchs, sea stars, hermit crabs, and more!
