Explorer Pass (1-day)

This includes the Scenic Skyway where you’ll be in the highest single span cable car in the world! Float high above the valley with the Scenic Cableway and experience the beauty of Katoomba with the Scenic Walkway as you walk through Jurassic rainforest.

Boomerang Pass (1-hour)

If you’re short for time, worry not – the Boomerang Pass is just for you! This bus tour will take you around the best places in Katoomba, offering you astonishing views from the tour bus.

A full loop on this tour takes approximately one hour, so just sit back, and relax as you admire the stunning scenery. You’ll be entertained throughout the tour as the live guide provides you with fascinating facts along the way, pointing out key sights so you don’t miss a thing! Keep an eye out for Mount Solitary, the Three Sisters, the Ruined Castle, and more.

Please note this is not a hop-on hop-off tour.

The first bus departs at 9:15am and the final bus departs at 4:45pm. The final bus tour will finish at 5:41pm.
Please ensure to arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow enough time to check in.
The earlier you arrive in the Blue Mountains, the more time you will have to explore at your own pace and get the most out of your day.
The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus Shop is located at the top of the stairs as you exit Katoomba Railway Station (283 Bathurst Rd, Katoomba). Please head straight to the shop to redeem your voucher before the tour begins. The shop is open from 08:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Sunday.
There is free all-day parking at the Katoomba Railway Station car park located in Goldsmith Place (turn left at the lights at the corner of Great Western Highway & Goldsmith Place if you are travelling westbound). Then simply walk through the railway station tunnel and straight up the steps into our booking office.
Only the Explorer and Lyrebird Pass allow entry to the hop-on hop-off bus tour. Guests who purchase the Boomerang Pass must remain on the bus for the entirety of the journey.
