Griffith Observatory is one of Los Angeles’ most popular attractions and is one of the most famous astronomic observatories in the world. Featuring 67,000 square feet of exhibition space, take a guided tour to ensure you don’t miss any of the must-see exhibits.
Led by an expert guide, you’ll have an enhanced experience in this small-group tour as the guide will share their expert knowledge throughout the tour. Answering any questions you may have and providing you with fascinating facts, you’ll be taken on an extraordinary journey through space.
Not only does Griffith Observatory provide exceptional views of the stars, moon, and planets through the telescope, but you’ll also have breathtaking views of LA. Known to be the best viewpoint of the iconic Hollywood Sign, take a moment to admire the beauty of the famous city.
At the end of the tour, the guide will show you how to purchase tickets to the planetarium if you choose to watch the immersive show with live narration. These tickets can only be purchased on-site on the day of the show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for kids aged between 5 and 12.

Parking fees are not included in the tour price. Parking is limited and costs $10 per hour.
This tour is good for families. It’s educational, interactive, and interplanetary, which are all things that children enjoy. To upgrade to the planetarium show, you may purchase tickets on-site. The guide will be there to assist you in doing so. If you decide to upgrade to the planetarium show, please note that this will only be available for guests aged 5 or older. This tour however is suitable for all ages.
