Bus Tour

Spend the day roaming the beautiful city of London with our sightseeing bus tour! Providing you with the flexibility to hop on and off at any of our bus stops, you’ll also be able to switch between four routes to discover different parts of the city.
Take in panoramic views of the city and admire London’s iconic landmarks including the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, and more! Throughout this tour, you can learn about the history of London and its landmarks through the audio guide.

Routes & Timetable:

The Classic Tour (Blue Route): Covers the main Central London sights including Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and more.

The Essential Tour (Red Route): Passes by Madame Tussauds, London Zoo, Trafalgar Square and two of the most famous parks in London: Hyde Park & Regents Park.

The Museum Tour (Orange Route): Explore London’s world-famous museums with the Museum Tour and pass by the beautiful Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, and Harrods along the way!

The Pick-Up/Drop-Off Route (Yellow Route): Operating in the mornings and late afternoons, this route travels from the popular hotel districts such as Kensington and Bayswater to Central London.

River Thames Boat Ride:

Sit back and relax as you embark on an hour-long one-way cruise down the River Thames. Soak in panoramic views of London’s magnificent landmarks as you travel from Westminster Pier to Tower Millenium Pier, or vice versa. At the end of your cruise, you’ll find a bus stop close by so you can hop back on to the London tour bus and continue your adventure!

Please note the boat ride is only valid with the 24-hour bus ticket option.

Buckingham Palace:

Visit the official residence of His Majesty The King – Buckingham Palace. As one of London’s biggest landmarks, exploring inside the Royal Palace is a unique experience! Wander through the grand State Rooms including the Throne Room and White Drawing Room. See where the Royal Family gather before official ceremonies as you take a glance into their life.

Indulge yourself into British culture and gain a new perspective of the monarchy. No need to worry about transport to the palace as the blue route of our London hop-on hop-off bus tour takes you right outside Buckingham Palace!

Additional information

Meeting point: Outside Queens Gallery Entrance, Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA.

Buckingham Palace entry time : 10:45am, 12:30pm or 1:45 depending on your selection.

You will then be escorted by a member of Golden Tours staff to Buckingham Palace entrance, where you will be able to enter the Palace.
Departure point: You can join the tour from any of our multiple stops. Each of our stops will be clearly signposted Golden Tours Hop on Hop Off/London Tour Bus. Valid for 24 hours from when you first hop-on the bus. Every 20 mins on the Red and Blue routes. Every 30 mins on the Orange route.

Buckingham Palace:
For safety reasons, pushchairs are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked in and reclaimed at the exit. Baby-carriers are available for loan.
A one-way system operates along the entire visitor route for safety reasons.
Use of mobile phones are permitted in the Palace Garden. Mobile phones must be switched off elsewhere on the visitor route.
Photography is not permitted inside Buckingham Palace.
Can be cancelled up to 72 hours before travel and get a full refund.
Clients that require mobility access must book directly with Buckingham Palace.
Tickets purchased from Golden Tours cannot be converted into a 1-Year Pass.
Audio tours are included in the admission price and are available in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.

Live Guide are subject to availability on day.
